Generally speaking, a properly erected and fully enclosed fabric building will provide an interior temperature 10+ degrees cooler in warm environments and 10+ degrees warmer in cool environments – depending on many factors.
If you’ll be storing temperature-sensitive materials inside your building, and/or if people will occupy the building, you may want to consider an insulation package. Adding an insulation package will provide you improved over the climate inside your building and increased energy efficiency. If you need more control over your interior environment, we offer numerous HVAC options.
Energy efficient insulation products come in a wide-variety of types and configurations. We offer fiberglass insulation, reflective insulation products, and insulated metal panels to meet customer needs and increasingly stringent energy codes.
Fiberglass Insulation
Fiberglass insulation is the most common insulation to regulate indoor air temperatures by inhibiting the loss of hot or cold air to the outside. Fiberglass insulation products are measured by their R-value (resistance to heat flow) wherein higher R-values offer greater insulative capacity.
We offer double-faced, fiberglass insulation rolls in various widths, thicknesses and R-values. Every insulation package is customized for each unique building configuration and includes all the materials necessary for an efficient installation.
Reflective Insulation
Reflective insulations are a common insulator for fabric buildings. Different than mass insulations (like fiberglass), reflective insulation regulates indoor air temperatures by absorbing and reflecting radiant energy and preventing air flow from escaping to the outside.
Reflective insulation can be used alone or in conjunction with mass insulators (like fiberglass) for high R-value systems. We offer reflective insulation systems in various types and configurations. Reflective insulations are lightweight, flexible, durable and easier to handle and install.
Insulated Metal Panels
Insulated metal panels (aka IMPs) are exterior wall panels configured with steel interior and exterior faces and an insulated foam core. IMPs offer excellent thermal properties in a durable, rigid, weathertight interlocking system available in a wide variety of configurations.
Available for buildings with vertical sides and end walls, IMPs are custom designed for each unique building and can be integrated with other claddings to create Hybrid building configurations.
